Photographer Helena Lines was born in Canada. She began her modeling career at 15, by 17 was signed by John Casablanca's Elite Model Agency and a year later began traveling the world as an international model.
Helena has appeared in over 50 TV ads as well as numerous billboard ads and catalogs worldwide. Some of her TV and print advertising clients included Toshiba, Toyota, Suntory, Jaeger Fashion, Yumi Katsura, Shiseido Cosmetics, Den Beaute Paris, Cutex, Rumon Cosmetics and Wacoal Lingerie. She has graced many magazines worldwide including Cosmopolitan, Italian Linea Moda, Votre Beaute, Le Joyaux and Brides.
Helena's love for photography started the very first time she picked up a camera as a 17 year old. Traveling the world as an international model, she filled her spare moments by photographing models for their portfolios.
As a model who was also a photography enthusiast, she relished her connection to the camera on both sides of the lens. Intrigued by their varying styles she eagerly absorbed the lighting techniques of the 2000+ photographers she worked with.
Twenty-five years later, Helena is still enchanted with her connection to the lens and considers her camera a gift to create and express shapes and moods in beautiful imagery.
